Like DSi, when an open 3DS detects NZone the originally hidden NZone title appears and a notification about it appears. Like DSi this title is already stored on NAND, originally this title only became accessible from home-menu once the 3DS was in a range of a NZone at least once, however at some point with a system update this title became always-accessible.
