I thought of a way of spotting the spammers. Notice all the user pages of the new bots contains <nowiki><br><br></nowiki> this is not typical for a normal user to use... Also i do know there is exploits for sure of the version we are using now. There is CheckUser extension for this version ([http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Thread:Extension_talk:CheckUser/How_to_install_CheckUser_for_MediaWiki_1.16.5_%3F Installation]). - Also Please let someone responsible to read this article Combating_spam:Guide That would be much useful for at least a while. Also i do know there is exploits for sure of the version we are using now. There is CheckUser extension for this version (Installation). The latest stable also include a SpamBlacklist extension.
