The Old3DS+New3DS 9.9.0-26 system update was released on July 13, 2015 for all available regions.

- Further improvements to overall system stability, system security, and other minor adjustments have been made to enhance the user experience
System Titles
All of the following titles were updated for Old3DS+New3DS: Home Menu(only for certain regions), CVer, and NVer.
Both platforms' browsers (spider and SKATER) were updated, see here for details.
The Taiwan amiibo Settings system-applet was added.
